Elizabeth Gillies
Gillies started her career as an actress at 12 years old, as she first began participating in public castings within the community. The path to becoming an actress began early after she started going to local open casting calls. Gillies's first appearance on television was as a recurring character on three seasons of The Black Donnellys. Gillies has said that she was never allowed to view the entire show as a whole because her parents felt it was not suitable to her age at the time. In 2008, she played small roles in the show The Clique, Harold, and Locker 514. The actress was cast in August of 2008 in the role of Lucy and Ariana Grande, who was her co-star from Victorious, for Jason Robert Brown's musical 13. In the following year, 13 relocated to Broadway as the first Broadway production to have the entire cast and orchestra comprised of teens. Gillies' two greatest numbers, "Opportunity", and "It isn't true" which were subsequently and were followed by smaller parts on songs like "Hey Kendra", "Getting Ready" and "It's a Good Thing. Gillies remained with the production until January 4 in 2009.
