Anita Briem, an Icelandic actress, is a well-known. Anita Briem is a Icelandic actress. Her best-known work is the role of Jane Seymour, the young woman who is to become the 3rd Queen of Henry VIII on the television drama The Tudors. Briem's acting journey began in the National Theater Iceland when she was a young girl of nine. She was a child actor in Iceland performing in TV and radio plays. After the age of 16, Briem moved to London where she was part of a production for the theater of the show Lenin In Love which was staged at the New End Theater. At 19 years of age, Briem was accepted at the highly regarded Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) which is where she was a student for three years and where she obtained a degree in Drama as well as the John Barton Prize in the category of Scenic Fight. While studying at RADA was a participant in a large number of plays, including The Cherry Garden by Anton Chekhov and Bernarda Alba's house from Federico Garcia Lorca . Briem gr
